This thread collects the rules we use when reviewing security and modding tools for MMORPG servers. Ethical diagnostics, recovery utilities, log inspection, and configuration hardening are welcome. Malware, credential theft, cheat automation, and bypass tooling are not.
Share the intended use, the affected server component, and the safeguards you apply before recommending a tool.

For asset pipelines, we also review whether a utility touches player files or only server-owned resources. That boundary should be visible before download.
